Our recent rescue of three beautiful cows highlights the need for compassionate intervention and ongoing care to protect these gentle creatures from harm and neglect. Now, they have found a safe haven at our sanctuary, where we are committed to providing them with the love and respect they deserve. But we cannot do this alone. Rescuing these cows was not an easy task. They were found in deplorable conditions—malnourished, weak, and without proper shelter. Thanks to the quick action of our dedicated team, they have been brought to safety and are now thriving in a nurturing environment. At our sanctuary, they are given the care, attention, and love that they have been deprived of for so long.
Cows have specific dietary needs that must be met to ensure their health and vitality. We provide them with high-quality fodder, grains, and mineral supplements to keep them strong and healthy. Each cow consumes approximately 30-40 kg of green fodder and 5-7 kg of dry fodder daily, along with fresh water.
Regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, and treatments are essential to prevent illnesses and infections. The cows undergo routine health evaluations and are given any necessary medical treatments to ensure they remain in good health.
