Mayra’s Ear Wound Was Crawling With Maggots

Mayra, a golden & white Mongrel, was rescued in agonizing condition  her ear severely infected, infested with maggots, and oozing pus. She whimpered quietly, unable to shake off the pain or the fear that had consumed her.

Her Fight to Heal Has Begun

Mayra is currently under veterinary care where she is receiving intensive wound cleaning, maggot removal, antibiotics, and pain relief. The infection was dangerously close to spreading — but we got to her just in time.
