India, with its rich, variable landscape and diverse ecosystems, is home to a myriad of animal species. Recognising the importance of preserving its natural heritage and ensuring the welfare of its inhabitants, the country has implemented a range of animal protection policies.
Their heightened sense of smell makes dogs excellent candidates to be trained to sniff out medical conditions. Medical professionals can train them to detect certain diseases by sniffing breath or urine samples of individuals suffering from medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, hyperthyroidism, migraines, and even cancer.
Back in 2011, we were appalled to see the high number of cases of animal accidents. Ambulance for animals was rare which resulted in them losing their lives before reaching a hospital. This inspired us to start our ambulance service.
