Maggi, a 13-year-old female mongrel, was abandoned outside the gates of AMTM — silently, suddenly, and without explanation. Her eyes tell stories of past trauma. Even today, she flinches at human touch, a reflection of wounds deeper than skin.
Maggi doesn’t bark or bite — she hides. She watches from corners, unsure if love means pain. Years of mistreatment have made her wary of the very hands trying to help.
At AMTM, Maggi is safe. She receives food, shelter, and space — all without pressure. Slowly, with patience, she is learning that not all humans hurt.
