Mikey, a 16-year-old male Rottweiler, was once someone’s pet but when his care became “inconvenient,” he was left behind. Ageing, aggressive, and misunderstood, he was abandoned instead of being supported.
Years of neglect have made Mikey cautious. He doesn’t trust easily, but beneath his tough exterior is a heart that still longs for safety and quiet companionship.
High-maintenance breeds like Mikey suffer silently when owners fail them. His body is slower now, but he still sits tall alert, watchful, dignified.
Nemo is a brave little 2-month-old puppy who was abandoned and left to fend for herself with a fractured leg.
