On 02/10/2025, Nova a golden-colored female DHS cat was rescued in severe distress. She was found straining to urinate, crying in pain, and visibly bloated. Upon medical examination, it was confirmed that she was suffering from a urinary bladder blockage a life threatening condition that needed immediate intervention.
Urinary blockages are extremely painful and can become fatal if not treated quickly. Nova was rushed into emergency care. A catheter was inserted to relieve the pressure, and she is now undergoing IV fluids, medication, and close monitoring to stabilise her condition.
Nova’s condition remains critical. She needs several days of hospitalization, lab tests, ultrasound imaging, and further treatment to prevent a recurrence or rupture of her bladder. We are raising ₹40,000 to support her complete medical care and recovery.
