Sheru, a white-mix DHS cat, was found on 11th October 2025 with a severe stomach wound, likely caused by an old injury that had gone untreated. By the time he reached us, the wound was deep, infected, and Sheru was in unbearable pain.
Despite emergency treatment, antibiotics, and pain relief, his frail body was already shutting down. Our team tried everything — but his condition had gone too far.
With deep sorrow, we share that Sheru passed away. He may not have made it, but he didn’t die alone. He was comforted, held, and cared for in his final hours — with the dignity every soul deserves.
