Thor, a white & golden Domestic Short Hair (DHS) cat, was rescued on 26th September 2025 with a horrific maggot-infested wound on his leg so deep that the bone was exposed.
Thor is currently admitted and receiving daily wound debridement, antibiotics, and supportive care. The risk of infection spreading to the bone is high, so he remains under close monitoring.
Despite the pain, he’s responding with quiet strength. Timely care can help avoid amputation and give him a full recovery.
