Velvet, a 10-year-old brown male mongrel, was rescued from Borivali West with a large maggot-infested wound on his back. His body was weak, the wound deep, and infection had already begun to spread.

He Endured Pain, Quietly

Despite days of treatment, wound cleaning, and medication, Velvet’s condition worsened. His body couldn’t hold on — and he passed away after a courageous fight.
