Choongooose
Choongooose came to us in agony battling a severe maggot wound that left her weak and in constant pain.
Kalu, a 15-year-old black female mongrel, was rescued from Goregaon West with a severe maggot wound and tumor near her private area. She was in intense pain, but still held on with quiet strength.
She was admitted to AMTM Hospital, Malad, where our team provided every possible care to ease her suffering.
Despite treatment efforts, her condition worsened due to age and severity of wounds. She passed away peacefully — surrounded by care, not neglect.
Kalu may not have survived — but she mattered. Every effort made for her was an act of love.
At AMTM, even when we lose — we never stop trying.
