Akira, a 7-year-old black male mongrel, was rescued from Bhayander East after suffering a spinal injury that left him paralyzed. He was immediately brought to AMTM Hospital, Malad, where his condition was declared critical.
Akira received intensive care, pain relief, and support — but his injuries were too severe. Despite all efforts, he passed away shortly after admission.
Akira fought silently — for comfort, for dignity, for one more day.
He may be gone, but he was seen. He was cared for. He was loved.
