Choongooose
Choongooose came to us in agony battling a severe maggot wound that left her weak and in constant pain.
Sheru, a brown male mongrel, was rescued by Mrunal Mirani with a severe maggot-infested wound on his back. Despite the visible discomfort and spreading infection, he held on bravely after being brought to AMTM Hospital for urgent treatment.
Sheru received daily wound care, antibiotics, and pain management. Though his body was weak, his spirit never gave up. He stayed gentle and trusting through it all.
Some recoveries don’t reach the end we hope for. Sheru’s body gave up, but in his final days, he knew safety, kindness, and love — not loneliness or neglect.
Because of you, he wasn’t just another stray. He was seen. He mattered. And he was loved.
