Duke, a brave soul, survived a horrific train accident that led to the loss of her front leg and tail. She was in unimaginable pain when rescued, but thanks to swift action and compassionate support, her life was saved.
Following emergency surgery and intensive post-operative care, Duke showed extraordinary resilience. Each day brought small signs of healing, and with constant veterinary support, she slowly regained her strength and spirit.
Today, Duke has not only recovered — she’s thriving. Released from the hospital, she moves forward on three legs with dignity and determination. Her second chance at life was only possible because of your kindness. Thank you for standing by her.
