Honey, a golden Domestic Short Hair (DHS) cat, was rescued on 14th October 2025 with a severe maggot-infested wound on her abdomen. The injury had left her weak, vulnerable, and in desperate need of immediate medical help.
She is currently admitted and under intensive care. The wound is being cleaned and treated daily, and Honey is on pain relief, antibiotics, and supportive therapy to fight off the infection and begin healing.
Honey’s treatment costs are estimated at ₹35,000, covering medical procedures, daily care, and follow-ups. Her recovery will take time — but with love and support, she has a strong chance of making it through.
