Marco, a 3-year-old male Golden Retriever, was once gifted with love — only to be thrown out just 15 days later. What began as a celebration ended in cruelty. Left to fend for himself, Marco developed tick fever, a condition he now lives with for life.
He was meant to be someone’s companion. Instead, he was cast aside like a toy. When rescued, Marco was weak, disoriented, and full of ticks — fighting an infection that continues to haunt him.
