On 29/10/2025, Mari a mixed color female mongrel was rescued in critical condition. She had developed a horrifying maggot-infested wound inside her nose. The infection had already spread dangerously close to her sinus, putting her life at serious risk.
Mari was found sneezing blood and struggling to breathe. The wound had begun eating away at her nasal tissue, and her condition was deteriorating rapidly. Thankfully, she was immediately admitted to our hospital, where emergency maggot removal, wound cleaning, and antibiotic treatment began.
Mari’s recovery will not be easy it involves prolonged medical attention, cleaning under sedation, and continuous monitoring to ensure the infection doesn’t return or spread. We are raising ₹45,000 to support her ongoing care, medications, and hospitalization.
