Mario, a 6-year-old male Pitbull, once belonged to a loving home  until tragedy struck. After his owner passed away from COVID, the world turned its back on him.

Caged for a Year, Forgotten by All

With no one left to care, Mario was handed to a caretaker who locked him away in a tiny enclosure. For nearly a year, he lived in isolation  no affection, no freedom, no light.

The Trauma Still Lingers, But So Does His Will to Heal

When rescued, Mario showed signs of deep neglect  physically weak and emotionally guarded. At AMTM, he’s now under safe care, slowly learning that love still exists in this world.
