Meet Milkha

Milkha: Three Years, One Wound, Endless Pain

Milkha, an 8-year-old male mongrel, has been living with an unhealed wound on his neck for over three years. Despite the daily dressings, despite the effort — the wound refuses to close. But so does his will to live.

A Chronic Wound. A Constant Battle.

Infection, re-opening, pain — Milkha’s neck has seen it all. What should’ve healed in weeks became a wound he carries every day, like a burden he never asked for.

Still He Waits, Still He Trusts

Under daily care and pain management at the shelter, Milkha remains patient and gentle. His body may be slow to heal, but his heart is still open to kindness.
