Misty, a grey female Domestic Short Hair (DSH) cat, was rescued by Amrita with a viral infection and maggots in her mouth. She was in intense pain and unable to eat or rest.
She was admitted to AMTM Hospital, where she received immediate care — but despite all efforts, Misty passed away on 08/06/2025.
Her final days were filled with care, not neglect.
She didn’t survive — but she was seen, soothed, and held with love.
We remember her.
We honour her.
And we continue — for those still fighting.
