Monto, a 4-year-old male Pitbull, once lived with love until his owner passed away during the COVID pandemic. What followed was silence, suffering, and solitude.
Left behind in the hands of a caretaker who didn’t care, Monto was confined to a cramped enclosure, alone and neglected for nearly a year. No sunlight. No walks. No voice.
When rescued, Monto was withdrawn and stiff, carrying the weight of betrayal. But under AMTM’s care, he’s slowly beginning to trust again. Veterinary care and gentle handling are helping him recover one moment at a time.
