On 29/01/2026, Berfi, a black Mongrel, was brought in with a maggot wound on her eye, a painful and high-risk condition that required immediate intervention. The infection had begun affecting the surrounding tissue, making urgent treatment critical.
Berfi is currently undergoing careful wound cleaning, removal of infected tissue, antibiotic therapy, and continuous monitoring to protect her eye and prevent further damage. Eye-area infections are delicate cases, and her treatment is being handled with precision and care.
