Yes. Schedule VII (iv) of the Companies Act, 2013 lists animal welfare as a permitted CSR activity, alongside environmental sustainability, ecological balance and the protection of flora and fauna. Funding rescue, veterinary treatment, sterilisation and lifelong sanctuary care falls squarely within that entry. Your CSR committee approves the activity under your own policy; we provide the documentation it needs.

Yes. Animal Matter To Me is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs under CSR-1 (CSR00003005), which is what the CSR Rules require of an implementing agency. We also hold 12AB registration (AADTA0943K25MB01) and 80G (AADTA0943K25MB02), and are a registered public charitable trust (F-41718, Mumbai). Our accounts are audited every year and filed with the Charity Commissioner. You can request our certificates using the Request Documents form on this page.

An MoU, a costed written proposal, quarterly progress reports with photographs, and a utilisation certificate signed by our trustees at the end of the project. Alongside those: receipts, our 80G and CSR-1 certificates, and our audited accounts for the relevant year. If your auditor works to a specific format, send it to us and we will complete it.

Yes, and most of our partners do. You can fund a named project (an ambulance, a CNVR programme in a defined ward, hospital equipment, the farm animal shelter at Kolad, or a community feeding route) and the reporting you receive covers that project alone.

Yes. We run corporate volunteering days at both the AMTM Dana Pani Hospital in Malad and the sanctuary at Kolad, and we will tailor the session to your team. It is physical, useful work rather than a photo opportunity. Note that under the CSR Rules employee time is not itself CSR expenditure, but a volunteering day sits naturally alongside a funded project.

Yes. Buildings, medical equipment, solar installations and vehicles are all fundable. Capital assets are held in the trust's name and used solely for its charitable objects, and we share purchase invoices and asset records as part of routine reporting.

Always, and we would prefer it. The hospital in Malad can be seen on any working day. The sanctuary at Kolad is a short drive from Mumbai and is arranged by appointment. Write to getinvolved@amtmindia.org and we will set it up.

However you would like: recognition at the funded facility, your logo on our website and annual report, a mention in our reporting, or complete anonymity. We seek written permission before using any company's name or logo anywhere.

An Indian-incorporated subsidiary is an Indian company, so its CSR spend is domestic funding and is received into our regular account in the ordinary way. A contribution remitted from a foreign source is foreign contribution under FCRA and must be received into our designated FCRA account at the State Bank of India, Sansad Marg, New Delhi. Animal Matter To Me holds FCRA registration 083781442, valid to 31 July 2029. Foreign and domestic funds cannot be mixed, so tell us which entity is remitting and we will route it correctly.

We do not set a floor. Smaller grants are usually pointed at a defined line item: a month of CNVR surgeries, a feeding route, a set of equipment. Larger ones fund capital projects and multi-year programmes. Tell us your budget cycle and focus areas and we will propose something that fits, or tell you honestly if we are not the right fit.
