Everything here runs on people who show up. There is a role for almost everyone, you do not need to be a veterinarian or an experienced handler to be useful.
Walk dogs, help with feeding rounds, assist at the hospital, or pitch in with admin and laundry. Every volunteer gets a full orientation on animal handling and safety before going near an animal. You do not need experience, you need a day and a willingness to be useful.
Some animals are too young, too small, or too fragile for the shelter. Fostering gives them a quiet home while they heal or grow. We provide food, medicine and guidance, you provide the space and the care.
We host veterinary students and graduates for hands-on internships at the AMTM Dana Pani Hospital and the Kolad Sanctuary Hospital. Intensive care, surgery, wildlife rescue, and large-animal medicine. Write to us to learn about current openings.
